These Lactase capsules provide the body with the enzyme lactase. Lactose (milk sugar) is processed or contained in many foods, not only in dairy products. The active enzyme lactase cleaves the milk sugar into usable components. If a lactose intolerance is present (relative or absolute lactase deficiency), the body produces either too little or no lactase. As a result, the lactose absorbed with the food is not digested and there may be an increase in gas formation, bloating and an unbalanced digestion.
The lactase contained these capsules takes over the function of the body's own enzymes and cleaves the food lactose. In this way, the intact consumption of lactose-containing food is made possible.

 

Use precautions:
Before or during the meal of a lactose-containing meal, swallow 1 to 2 capsules with enough liquid, depending on the degree of lactose intolerance. The dosage of lactase capsules must be adjusted individually. It depends on how much milk sugar is fed to the body over the food. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
