Lactose (milk sugar) naturally occurs in numerous foods. In order for lactose to be transformed by the body, it is cleaved by the body's own enzyme lactase into its components glucose and galactose. If a lactose intolerance is present (relative or absolute lactase deficiency), the body produces either little or no lactase. This results in the fact that undigested lactose reaches deeper intestinal sections and is there broken down by intestine bacteria, which can lead to typical symptoms such as digestive complaints and bloating. For people who have problems with the digestion of lactose, lactase improves the lactose digestion.
The dispenser is ideal for on the go.

1 tablet contains 4,000 FCC units of lactase.
